The Kern High School District provides testing certification in math, reading, and writing. The Paraprofessional Assessment is given each month, (except December). It is a computer-based exam consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions.
Effective January 1, 2022, the following policies, and procedures will be in effect for all Paraprofessional Assessments administered at the Kern High school District.
Time: 08:00 a.m. Test candidates should report no later than this time to be seated, log in and have identity verified. The assessments are timed and will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. It will take approximately two hours to complete the battery of three assessments.
Materials Needed
All examinees must have picture identification. Acceptable picture identification includes a California driver's license or I.D. card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles, passport, military I.D. card, or government I.D. card. The examinees name, birth date, signature, and photograph must appear on the above or on some combination of the above. A temporary driver's license, social security card, or birth certificate is not sufficient to prove identification.
