Crew Needed: Crew & technical help (18 and older) are needed in all areas for this show, which has lots of special effects, period costumes and specialized props. If interested, please complete the form and you will be contacted. Crew only applicants do not need to attend auditions.
General Information: Flexible gender-neutral casting. Auditions are open to anyone 10 years of age and older and will consist of cold readings from the script. There is some music in the show. If interested in a singing role, please prepare your favorite Christmas carol and bring your own recorded track. If you are not a singer, don't worry. There are plenty of non-singing roles available. Interested in reading the script? A "read in the library" copy is at the information desk at the main branch of the Fairfield County District Library.
Times: Plan on arriving a few minutes before the stated start time. If you will arrive late or must leave early, let us know.

Rehearsals: The rehearsal schedule will be created based on the availability of the cast and production staff.
Please be sure to fill out both this form and the Conflicts form entirely prior to your audition. Rehearsals will begin on 9/15 at The Wagner Theatre and will be held 3 days per week until the week of 11/10 when the number will increase as needed to integrate technical and final rehearsals. The entire cast is not called to every rehearsal. Weekend rehearsals will be held from 2-5pm, weekday rehearsals from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
Thanksgiving Weekend: There will be no rehearsals Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of Thanksgiving weekend. There will be rehearsals on Saturday and Sunday, November 30 and December 1st. If cast, please plan your Thanksgiving holiday accordingly.
Cast Announcement: Cast announcement will be made by email and will also be posted online when confirmed. Please check your email and respond as directed. All cast members will need to sign the OHIO University Lancaster Theatre Code of Conduct which will be distributed by email before the first rehearsal along with additional paperwork for those under 18 years of age.
