Riley Park is a 550 acre home to old groves of western sycamore and coast live oaks, along with fields of coastal sage scrub and grasslands. It is inhabited by mule deer, coyotes, and other native denizens of the area. We’ll take a 3.5 mile loop around the park and enjoy the views of Saddleback and neighboring hills from Skink Vista Point. This is our shortest hike of the year and is rated easy, though we will climb a total of approximately 450 feet. Depending on how we feel, we may try a couple of short, optional extensions.

Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park, 30952 Oso Parkway, Coto de Caza, 92679
