Are you interested in serving on the Lane PTA Board for 2026-27?

NOTE: All offices for 2025-26 were filled during the elections at our October general meeting, but if you are interested in being considered this spring for a 2026-27 role, we'd love to hear from you!

Most board roles require between 1-3 hours of volunteer work per week, plus a monthly board meeting.

Key responsibilities of each role are included below & roles that do not have a current officer returning to the role are marked with an asterisk.

Officers will be voted in at our October general meeting.

*President (or Co-President): set agendas & facilitate monthly board & general meetings, meet with EY regularly regarding school needs, support all officers & committee leads

*Vice-President: support president with meetings, fill in for any officer as needed, oversee monthly financial audit, etc.

*Treasurer: manage PTA budget, prepare monthly financial statements and reports, ensure compliance with all OR PTA requirements for a Unit in Good Standing

*Secretary: take notes at all meetings, draft weekly blurbs for school newsletter, manage PTA newsletter & mailing list, etc.

*Assistant Treasurer: assist Treasurer with monthly reports, process teacher grant reimbursements, etc.

*Donations Coordinator: solicit local businesses to secure donations for student store, office snacks, special lunches, etc.

Communications and Marketing: create graphics for PTA events, update social media, etc.

Volunteer coordinator: work with teachers and staff to identify family volunteer opportunities, recruit volunteers, etc.

An at-large board role: this means you would lead a particular project &/or committee and support other board members as needed
