Taking health protections is part of feminist care, worker solidarity, access, and disability justice. AWID is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Covid tests, masks, and hand sanitizer will be available for participants to protect themselves and others.
We also ask that anyone experiencing symptoms does not enter the portal. Swahili-English and Kannada-English interpretation will be available during sessions connecting with Nairobi and Bangalore, respectively. You can connect via QR code on your smartphone. Headsets are available if needed.
We are documenting with photo/video during sessions. All participants must sign a permission waiver for their image to be used. Anyone who does not want to be included in the footage should wear a red sticker on their shirt.
