Our recitals this Fall are on Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th (& Wednesday, Dec 19th for Cameren's non-adult Students). I have begun the process of putting together the recital schedule times and I need your help! At LYRIQ we like to keep the recitals short and sweet with about 6-8 students per recital, therefore we have many mini-recitals. We will do our absolute best to keep your child to one performance if they are studying more than one instrument.
Please let me know ALL your available times so we can put together the best recitals. If you want to be with your friends, please list in the comments. Please fill out this form by Sunday, November 18th.
Why are recitals important?Recitals provide a tangible goal to work towards. In having a set date and a pre-planned performance selection, your child learns how to manage practice time and learns what it feels like to polish and perfect a piece.
Recitals are also a great opportunity to meet your musical peers, experience and overcome nervousness, share your work with your friends and family. Even if you think you are not ready, your teacher will work with you to identify a recital piece.
NOTE: If you started in the middle of the semester you do not need to fill this out UNLESS your teacher recommended you for the recital.
