The Associative Law of addition
  •  The numbers in an addition expression can be regrouped using parentheses, any numbers within parentheses are numbers you will add first.
  • You can add numbers in any order, the answer is still the same.
  •  The word "associative" comes from "to associate" or "to group". 
  • The Associative Property is the rule that refers to grouping; the regrouping can be of added terms.
