University Innovation Fellows are leading a global movement to ensure that all students gain the attitudes, skills and knowledge required to address complex challenges and compete in the economy of the future. These student leaders create new opportunities that help their peers build creative confidence and develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
This program has trained 1,000 Fellows at 185 schools to understand the landscape of innovation and entrepreneurship resources at their schools, and work as collaborators with faculty, administrators and community stakeholders. Fellows develop strategic thinking skills and learn multiple frameworks, including design thinking and lean startup as well as program models used by schools across the globe. Fellows are hosting events and workshops, collaborating with faculty on new classes, creating student maker spaces, founding clubs, and providing opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
The University Innovation Fellows is a program of Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school)
