Workshop: Using Real Research to Educate Yourself and Your Students
Science in the Classroom (SitC, www.scienceintheclassroom.org) is hosting a teacher professional development workshop at the AAAS Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas, on February 14 from 8 am - 5 pm. The goal of this workshop is to familiarize pre-service teachers, current high school teachers, and undergraduate educators with annotated primary literature, strengthen their understanding of the nature of science, and discuss promising practices for using annotated primary literature in the classroom.

Successful regional applicants may be eligible for full support, including travel, accommodations, and materials. Space for this workshop is limited, so please complete the following application (note that, due to our budget, we are unable to offer full support to applicants from outside North America--please contact Shelby Lake (slake@aaas.org) with questions)

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY January 15, 2018 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
