KIDS VOTING VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM
INSPIRE A NEW GENERATION OF ENGAGED CITIZENS!

* Volunteer your skills and expertise in education, communication & outreach, design, or another area to help Kids Voting Durham with one time or long-term projects. Most projects are available to youth volunteers and have flexible hours and locations for work.
* Be a Kids Voting site leader on Election Day. As a Kids Voting site leader, just choose one of Durham’s precincts (or let Kids Voting help you choose one) and line up enough volunteers to run the site from 2:30-7:30 PM and set up the site the evening before.
* Run an Early Voting site. Have just a few hours to spare? Volunteer to serve at an Early Voting site Sor at a Kids Voting event such as the Youth Candidate Forum or Early Voting Celebration.
* Assist in the Kids Voting Durham office during business hours.

A few hours of your time can translate into a lifetime of civic engagement and informed voting for a young person. Volunteering with Kids Voting is easy, fun, and rewarding. Kids Voting volunteer opportunities are youth and family-friendly and provide student service hours, group team building, and other benefits.

Kids Voting provides you with all the training and materials for your site so you can help Durham’s K-12 students cast their ballot on the same 2018 as adults. Youth 16 and older can run a site on their own, and families have volunteered with all ages of children! Running a site can be a great team building activity for a work, PTA, and youth and schools groups as well.
