Taboo Festival Assistant Application & Agreements 2025
Hello dear friend!

Would you like to be an Assistant at Taboo Festival in exchange for a cost-price ticket with accommodation and food?!

We'll have two AMAZING festivals this year: Berlin in June and the UK in August.

Assistant Dates for Taboo Festivals 2025:
Berlin: June 10th to 15th
UK: August 12th to 17th

*Assistants are required to be on-site before the festival begins. For Berlin that means arriving by 11am on June 10th, and for the UK that means by 11am on August 12th. 
That said, we will need some of you to come on June 8th for Berlin to help set up the space. If this is you, please let us know. Coming early gives an excellent opportunity to drop in as a team. Assistants are expected to work 15 hours for the festival over this time. Main jobs include assisting facilitators as well as keeping an eye on anything that needs attention around the site. (More about this later)

There will be an all team meeting and an all team temple in the afternoon and evening before the first day of the events (so on June 10th and August 12th respectively), and a non-mandatory all team temple in the evening of the last day, after our participants have left. The all team meeting the day before the first day of the festival (June 10th or Aug 12th) is mandatory. As this is a closed container, assistants must then stay for the whole duration of the event.

As an assistant for Berlin Taboo you will be eligible for these prices - €290 for camping and €300 for dorm accommodation. A link with these prices will be provided to you when we process your application. A ticket link for UK Taboo will be available as well.

We need your application by April 15th - These spaces are both sought after and limited, please get your response in to us ASAP. Your place as an assistant is not guaranteed until we have received this completed form and payment for your ticket. Assistant tickets are reduced by 50% for all ticket types.

Assistant Agreement. Please read and acknowledge if you agree.

* You agree to stay on top of and communicative in a timely manner in the various chat groups that you will be added to as part of the team, and to respond to emails where required.
* You agree to attend where possible or watch the recordings of all three team Zoom meetings before the festival (dates to come).
* You agree to being timely. This means being on time for morning meetings, being on time for any responsibilities and to showing up 20 minutes before the start of any workshop you are assisting.
* You agree to have an attitude of being helpful throughout the event, and understand that we are working together as a team to support a beautiful, powerful and transformational space.  
* You agree to signing up to the workshops that you'd like to assist, and to have your selections submitted at least one week before the festival begins.
* You are able to step in and work with participants in workshops - for example, if there is a paired exercise and the group needs another participant for even numbers. This would involve non-sexual activity but does require experience also. Such work may be with same sex people.
