MH and Undergrad MedEd
We are proposing a one day meeting to explore the relevance of Medical Humanities to undergraduate medical students. The meeting will explore what students may learn by studying MH, what things are taught already under different banners, and share examples of good practice. We will review how teaching/learning can work in small groups, tutorials, lectures, elective/self-selected components, and undergraduate research. We'll share best practice, stories of success and stories of failures. Student representatives will join us to discuss what they would find important and relevant.
If you're interested and would like to take part, please leave your name, email, and affiliation
We are proposing that this meeting will happen on Wednesday January 24th in Sheffield. Are you free?
Would you be able to help bring along one or two students from your institution to get a student input and perhaps a student forum going?
What experience have you had of providing learning opportunities in MH to medical students?
Do you have any specific suggestions of things you think we should cover?
Is there anything else I've forgotten to ask you?
