PLEASE BE GENEROUS WITH YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME. When EVERYONE pitches in, there is
not a burden on a few. We APPRECIATE you and this is a great way to get to know fellow Band Parents.
Please mark the areas in which you would like to help, include at least one!
Volunteer Helper: Make phone calls to help schedule people for events.
Uniforms: "Box Mom" takes a group of uniforms home 3-4 times per season and washes them. 1-3 loads per washing depending on number of volunteers.
Roadies/Equipment: Build props, maintain equipment, supervise the loading of the trailers, haul trailers to competition, assist band with getting on and off the field during competitions. And you get to wear cool puple camo pants!
Chaperones: Band Camp, help supervise activities during the two weeks of band camp. Competitions, ride buses and sit with students in stands. Football games, sit with students in the stands.
Concessions: Opportunities to work up front with the customer or work behind the scenes perparing food, pulling drinks, etc. at home Football and Basketball Games, Marching Band Festival, Winterguard Festival
Chuck Wagon/Hospitality: Prepare/serve meals and snacks for Band Camp, Competitions, Marching Band and Winterguard Festivals, Coordinate donations.
Market Day Coordinator: Coordinate monthly Market Day orders and pick ups.
Medical Assistance: Be available at contests, Band Festival and Winter Guard show to provide medical assistance if needed.
Other: Photographyer/Videographer at contests, camps, and competitions. Website coordinator or anything else you can think of that may be helpful to the Band of Pride's success!
Electrical: Fix wiring, cabling, and other electronic needs
