Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering with us! Wisconsin Books to Prisoners (WBTP) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster a love of reading behind bars, encourage the pursuit of knowledge and self-empowerment, and to help break the cycle of recidivism.

Meetings take place on Wednesday evenings. We encourage you to apply even if you are unable to attend these meetings, particularly if you are able to take initiative remotely to fundraise or source donations of books from authors or publishers.

Due to space constraints, we typically maintain 6 volunteers at any given time. We will retain your information and contact you if a position opens up.
