The Medal of Bravery is awarded to members of the US Marshals with a rank of Deputy Marshal or higher for acts of extreme courage in the line of duty.
Nominations can be submitted on behalf of your character or someone else's. To submit a nomination, you must have directly witnessed the qualifying event IC.
Next Medal of Bravery Ceremony: May 2023Qualifying Actions include:
- Apprehension of a fugitive with a Federal Warrant wherein the pending sentence is life, nominee was not rendered unconscious in the process, and fugitive was delivered to Sisika to face justice.
- Apprehension of a fugitive with a Federal Warrant wherein the pending sentence is life and the fugitive was delivered to Sisika to face justice, but nominee was killed in the process. (Award granted posthumously).
- Apprehension of a fugitive with a Federal Warrant wherein a shootout was initiated by the opposing party, no civilian bystanders were harmed, and at least one US Marshal survived to make the arrest.
- Life saving action was taken wherein a civilian or US Marshal's life was in immediate danger and nominee's actions correlated directly to the prevention of harm at great risk to themselves.
