Creating Visibility for Black Leaders in Retail

At CommerceNext, we've always believed that visibility creates opportunity. However, we've fallen short when it comes to offering diverse viewpoints on our stage. We have not featured enough BIPOC leaders in our programming (either live or virtual) and we've definitely fallen short when it comes to the Black community in this regard. Black individuals represent 14% of the population, but only 3.2% hold executive jobs.

We would like to help create visibility for Black individuals by identifying a list of potential speakers from the Black community that can speak on retail-related topics. With the permission of the individuals, we will share our list with other conference organizers to help broaden the reach.
