Thank you for your interest in helping us address food apartheid and build movement toward Black Land & Food Sovereignty! We are currently in need of eager and committed volunteers to assist in the following areas:

Community Outreach - share information about BYI and ways people can engage our work. includes canvassing, zine/flyer distribution, tabling, and other tasks as needed

BYI Marketplace at Cherry Hill - assist with our weekly Saturday market in Cherry Hill and special events. includes helping with set-up, stocking products, greeting customers, clean-up, and other tasks as needed

Mutual Aid Market - assist with our monthly mutual aid markets in Curtis Bay and Mount Clare, includes distributing produce bags, conducting surveys, talking to community members, helping with set-up and clean-up, and other tasks as needed
