The Post-Acute Triumphant TBI Stories book collaboration is a collaborative project between the HobbleJog Foundation (
) and Green Heart Living Press (
The mission of the HobbleJog Foundation (HJF) is to support teens and young adults recovering from neurological trauma, inspiring them to reach their full potential. HJF primarily funds post-acute services.
The mission of Green Heart Living Press is to bring more love and peace into the world, one book at a time.
In this book collaboration, HJF and Green Heart bring together 20 authors to share their stories of triumphant, long-term recovery from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). We are seeking authors from across the United States who are willing to share their personal stories with post-acute TBI recovery, including the resources that made long-term recovery possible. We are also interested in the stories of people caring for those with TBI.
To be invited to submit a chapter, your application must: 1) align with the missions of HJF and Green Heart, 2) offer an inspiring perspective/experience, 3) include resources that helped make recovery possible.

Selected authors will be asked to pay a participation fee of $225 to offset the publishing cost. Would this be a financial challenge for you?
I can pay the participation fee without difficulty.
Paying the fee would be challenging, but I can find a way.
Paying the fee would be a hardship. I may not be able to participate without financial assistance.
Are there any challenges or obstacles you are currently facing that could get in the way of following the planned timeline? (Word count 2,000 - 2,200. Rough draft due Sept 30, Final Draft Oct 31). What plans can you put in place to face those challenges?
