Our organization would like to support information, education and the concept of a New Mexico Green Amendment that will:

place environmental rights in the New Mexico Constitution's Bill of Rights;
will recognize the rights of all the people of the state to a clean, safe and healthy environment and will include environmental essentials including water, air, soil, native flora and fauna, ecosystems and climate;
will ensure an obligation to protect environmental rights equitably for all people;
will ensure an obligation to protect the state's natural resources for present and future generations; and
will ensure these rights are self-executing and enforceable.
