National Immigrant Integration Conference 2019 (NIIC 2019) Scholarship Application
As part of our commitment to ensuring the broadest participation possible at NEW AMERICAN DREAMS: National Immigrant Integration Conference (NIIC), we provide a cohort of Scholarships each year. Anyone who is interested to attend NIIC is welcome to apply.
Scholarship applications for NIIC 2019 are open now through Wednesday September 18, 2019; applications must be completed by 5pm Eastern that day. Awardees will be notified on a rolling basis beginning September 23. NOTE: DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 18TH.
Due to limited funds, Scholarships cover Registration fees only; at this time, NIIC is not able to provide travel support.
NIIC typically receives 100-200+ applicants from across the country. Priority is given to:
---Applicants who have not attended NIIC in the past
--Are from groups that are under-represented at NIIC
---Those who would not otherwise be able to attend.
We also value applications from leaders who have been active in the immigrant and refugee rights and integration fields as well as leaders connected to the work of NPNA member groups.
NIIC has a limited number of Scholarships available and we are typically not able to meet every request.
We do encourage all Scholarship applicants to also explore other possible avenues of support.
To be considered for a Scholarship, you must complete this online application. If you have difficulties with this form, please contact Conference Assistant Cynthia Friedman at
