  The Mercado events have been approved by the Merced County Public Health Department, and are supported by the City of Merced. We are also proud to partner with the Merced Police Department, the Merced Fire Department, and RIGGS ambulance service at the events.

If you plan to sell any products or services at The Mercado, The MCHCC requests to receive a copy of your City of Merced Business License one week before the event.  If you don't have an annual Business License, you can download an application for an annual license here: http://bit.ly/mercedbizlicense.  A one-day Special Events Business License is required only if you do not already have an annual Business License with the City of Merced. You can download an application for a Special Events License ($16.50/day) here: http://bit.ly/mercedeventlicense. (Note: If you are a nonprofit organization, you will need a license, but you will not have to pay the license fee). I agree to this request: *

Interest forms will be considered on a first-submitted, first-confirmed basis. All artists, performers, and exhibitors will be required to bring their own materials, equipment, electricity accessories, etc. needed for their staging area. Following COVID-19 health regulations, we invite everyone to wear masks and maintain social distancing. We ask that the staging areas be kept neat, clean, and organized at all times, including staging area breakdown and cleanup after the event. I agree to these conditions: *
The City of Merced and/or the MCHCC have the right to reject any artist, performer, or exhibitor needing electricity. Each vendor must provide their own extension cords and generator, if needed. The City of Merced and/or the MCHCC also reserves the right to cancel or relocate any stage headliner as necessary. I understand that the City of Merced and the MCHCC shall not be liable for the results of any accident, damage, theft, or any other loss to the artist/performer/exhibitor, or to any person or article employed by or in the possession of the artist/performer/exhibitor while on the grounds of The Mercado on Main Street, from “M” street to Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and on Canal Street from Bob Hart Square up to 18th Street, whether such occurs during the time of preparation, the period of occupancy, or at the time of removal from The Mercado on Main and Canal Streets. I understand that if I am accepted as an artist/performer/exhibitor in The Mercado on Main and Canal Streets, I agree that photographs or videos of me, and/or my work/products may be used by the MCHCC and the City of Merced for promotional and  publicity purposes.
