Moving Together Creative Dance Company are looking for current DMU students to undertake placement opportunities with our various projects for children and young people. Placements will run after October half term through to end of March, with the potential for continuation after this period.
We have multiple placements on offer for our Moving Together Youth programme held at DMU on Wednesday evenings. We require placements to assist with a variety of practical and theoretical sessions and expect professionalism, enthusiasm and engagement with our participants throughout.
Moving Together Youth is a dance based creative programme for young people aged 10–18, helping children and young people develop technical dance skills, confidence, leadership and creativity, all while achieving a nationally recognised qualification, Arts Award. Moving Together Youth offers an exciting, supportive and enriching experience including, dance classes, theatre trips and performance opportunities.

KEY DATES:
Deadline = Friday 24th October
Confirmation from MTG = Monday 27th October
Placement start date = Wednesday 29th October 5pm meet for induction on week one, sessions then 5:30 - 8:30pm.
Placement end date = Wednesday 25th March (option to continue in term 3)
Meeting location = Ground floor Hugh Aston vending machines
