Description "Call for Case Studies"
For providing the base upon which the workshop topic will be tackled in an in-depth and practical way, the event will feature case studies. These real-life cases will be studied and developed during the group work sessions that will take place throughout the week. Six working groups will be formed to develop inclusive business approaches for promoting the HRTWS.
For this purpose, we are calling for submissions from non- or for-profit organisations who implement or plan to adopt an inclusive business approach to provide water and sanitation services to the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) and actively promote the HRTWS.

What we are looking for:
- Innovative and inclusive business approaches that promote the HRTWS. That means non- or for-profit organisations that are implement or plan to adopt an inclusive business approach to provide water and sanitation services to the BoP. Projects/ initiatives that can be turned into an inclusive business (i.e. have a long-term sustainability component or business model) are eligible too.
- The business or initiative should be proven, i.e. at an advanced stage beyond prototype/ pilot stage.
- The case owner must be between 20 and 35 years old at the time of the application and be willing to think out-of-the-box.
- The case owner must be the founder, co-founder or management member of the business or initiative.
- The case owner must be available to attend the whole AGUASAN Workshop in Switzerland from May 13th to 17th 2019.
- The case owner must be willing to prepare the case for the group work with guidance from the AGUASAN team, take a leading role during the group work in representing the case and report on the uptake of the results after the workshop.
- The case owner must be able to communicate in English (intermediate level at least).

What is in it for you:
- Participation in the AGUASAN Workshop 2019 and the chance to expand your network with over 80 international experts and receive their dedicated feedback on your initiative during the networking, plenary and group work sessions.
- All costs for the participation in the workshop are covered (including international flight and transport within Switzerland, full board, lodging in twin rooms, facilities and field trip; excluding travel insurance, drinks and any personal expenses).
- The initiative winning the pitching contest at the end of the workshop will receive 5’000 CHF in funding and mentorship during 6 months following the workshop.
