Level 1: Beginner (Can you put your face in the water and blow bubbles? Can you back and front float? Can you kick on your front with arms extended out?)

Level 2: Fundamental Skills (Can you kick on your back without sinking? Can you freestyle kick on your front while using breaststroke arms? Can you freestyle kick and use freestyle arms? Can you flip onto your back when swimming on the front, and then float to breathe?)

Level 3: Stroke Development (Can you swim full freestyle with side breath continuously for 1-4 laps? Can you swim backstroke going straight without bumping into the sides?)

Level 4: Stroke Improvement (Choose this level if you want to add more endurance for backstroke and freestyle swimming, want to learn flip turns, or the breaststroke)

Level 5: Stroke Refinement (Choose this level if you want to work on techniques to help with breathing, balancing, and alignment, you want to add power for speed, or you want to learn the butterfly or another stroke)

Level 6: Skill Proficiency (Choose this level if you are competitive and/or are looking to fix techniques to lower time or fix patterns)

The swim lessons are for my child (see below)

CHILD: Rate their current swimming ability. *

The swim lessons are for me (an adult).

Child Level 1: For children uncomfortable in a pool environment and with water. They are nervous about submerging their head underwater.

Child Level 2: For children who are comfortable fully submerging their face in the water, but don't have any swimming skills beyond that.

Child Level 3: For children who are able to do the freestyle with face in water for at least 2 feet and in water where they cannot touch the bottom.

Child Level 4: For children who can do the freestyle with face in water for at least a few feet, and they can roll over onto their back and float when they need air.

Child Level 5: For children who are very comfortable in water in which they cannot touch the bottom. They have basic knowledge of freestyle using arms and kicks.

Child Level 6: For children who can swim freestyle unassisted with side breathing for two laps or more. They have also been introduced to the backstroke and butterfly.

Child Level 7: For children who can swim at least 4 laps of freestyle with good speed. They can also do multiple laps of backstroke and butterfly.

Child Level 8: For children who have good knowledge of all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke), want to fine tune those skills, and introduce racing aspects such as flip turns.
