Hello and welcome!

Thank you for showing interest in one of Orange County’s most premier cheerleading programs.

Being a part of this program is a privilege and a commitment, not just an extracurricular activity. Our teams are built on hard work, accountability, and a shared pursuit of excellence, both on and off the mat.

Participation in this program requires a high level of commitment and personal sacrifice. Athletes are expected to prioritize practices, games, competitions, school spirit events, camps, and required team functions. This often means managing a demanding schedule, giving up free time, and maintaining consistency even when it is challenging. Success in this program comes from showing up prepared, focused, and fully invested.

We strongly emphasize the balance between academics and cheer. Athletes must remain in good academic standing and demonstrate strong time-management skills. School always comes first, and being a student-athlete means handling responsibilities maturely in both areas. We expect our cheerleaders to represent excellence in the classroom just as they do in uniform.

Representation is a core expectation of the Aliso Niguel Cheer Program. As a member of this team, you are a visible representative of Aliso Niguel High School at all times—on campus, at events, online, and in the community. Athletes are expected to demonstrate respect, integrity, sportsmanship, and positive behavior. How you carry yourself matters, and team membership comes with accountability beyond practice and performance.

Please understand that tryouts are competitive. Team placements are made thoughtfully and intentionally, based on skill level, performance, consistency, attitude, coachability, and overall team needs. Our goal is to place athletes in positions where they—and the team—can be most successful throughout the entire season.
