General Information: Hello and welcome to the sign up form for the Zugzwang Champions Concours. This tournament is only Chess.com rated. This tournament will be held on Chess.com in the Zugzwang Chess Club on October 12th-13th, 2024 at 2:30PM EDT both days. International players are welcome and encouraged to participate, however to be eligible for the prizes, you must pay for the shipping. On October 12th, players will participate in a 6 round Swiss tournament, where the 4 leaders will play in a playoff-esque head-to-head battle the next day where the top three will be decided and chosen to receive prizes. The event will be broadcasted on Chess.com as well as on the Zugzwang Chess Club YouTube Channel and Twitch Channel where our in-house players will be commentating on the event.
On the first day, the rules will be rather calm with no special imperatives, in the case of someone suspecting a fair play violation, you may send us an email or fill out our Fair Play Violation form (
https://forms.gle/VtaNUr5X7ubGsG456) where we will investigate the player and via checking Chess.com's Fair Play Analysis as well as cross-referencing it with their rating, we will be able to make a conclusion. By filling out this form, you agree to follow the Chess.com Code of Conduct and any misconduct will lead to disqualification, the final say rests with the members of the Fair Play Board.
On the second day, the 4 leaders will have to join a Discord video call and share their screens as well as turn on their cameras in order to participate in the event.
