Cranford PASE Parent Opportunities
Below is an outline of opportunities for parents to get involved in Cranford PASE for the 2025/26 school year.
This is an interest survey and further contact will be made directly to anyone showing interest to discuss details of the role(s).

Meeting dates currently on the district calendar:
November 18th @ 7:30pm - Parent Roundtable (no minutes will be taken)
January 8th @ 7:15pm - Parent Training (Lauren Fernandez- functional communication training, behavior strategies, problem-solving difficult situations at home)
March 5th @ 7:15pm - Parent Training (How to Read IEPs and 504 Plans)
May 13th @ 7:30pm - Parent Roundtable, includes planning for 2026/27 school year (minutes will be taken on planning portion of the meeting ONLY)

I am interested in the Attendance and Meeting Info Distribution position.

Maintain record of meeting attendance and send emails to the collected distribution list (meeting notes, upcoming meeting reminders/agenda, etc.)

Take detailed minutes at all parent education meetings (not Parent Roundtable meetings) and format that to be distributed to collected distribution list with 1-2 weeks of meetings.

Researches and keeps updated records of meeting and guest speaker ideas for future planning purposes.

I am interested in the PASE Representative (1-2 individuals per school) position.

Read the weekly principal blasts from your school, attend PTA meetings regularly, and identify where there may be inequities (within the social/extracurricular, non-academic experience).
