CANskate * Parent Assisted *Ages 3 and up This year due to COVID-19 we are running a parent Assisted CANSkate program. One person aged 18+ ( parent/Guardian/assistant) with the ability to skate themselves needs be on the ice assisting your child . This will allow you to use physical contact with your own skater to assist the techniques our club professionals will be implementing. This keeps with the Bubble Guidelines in accordance with Public Health . Physical distancing between sets of participants will be followed. Session dates Start Sunday November 1st 2020 -March 14th 2021Session Times Sundays 2:00-2:45 pm. Helmets are mandatory for all Skaters under 18 years of age. Gloves are to be worn during all sessions by all participants.COVID-19 Health Questionnaire at all sessions are mandatory. Masks to be worn in the building and by all participants assisting the skater (eg. Parent) *ONLY THE PARENT/GUARDIAN/ASSISTANT you register can go on the ice . NO SWITCHING PERMITTED $50 Non refundable deposit is required to secure spot upon acceptable email. Only 20 Spots Available. THIS PROGRAM IS WAITLISTED

Refund Policy for the 2020-2021 Season.The Thorold Skating club’s COVID-19 Refund policy is in effect for the 2020-2021 skating season. No refund can be given on deposits to hold a skaters’ spot in a program. No refund will be issued should you choose to pull your child from the activity for any reason. Due to the small group sizes and keeping with “pods”, your skaters’ spot was secured and paid for in advance and cannot be refilled .In the event that the CIty of Thorold closes the arena due to Illness related issues such as COVID-19, a prorated refund will be issued, less the Skate Canada charges and a building/arena administration fee. Should your child become ill, or be part of another activity that has a scheduling conflict with arena ice times, a refund will not be granted, or credit given for lost time. Should your child have to take time off due to injury or illness such as isolation periods due to COVID-19, no refunds or credits for sessions missed will be granted . a $50 non refundable deposit is required upon email acceptance of your spot.
