BRAVO Membership Form 2023-2024 School Year
This form is to be completed each year for anyone that wishes to become a member of BRAVO. Please only complete one form per household.

Anyone can join BRAVO and attend meetings with their $10/household suggested donation. However, if you would like to become an ACTIVE member this will include active participation in committees/volunteer efforts.

BRAVO Mission & Purpose:

The mission of BRAVO is to support the dance education of students at The School of Greensboro Ballet by fostering relationships among the school, parents, teachers, artistic staff and the Board of Directors. We will offer financial support through fundraising activities and provide adult volunteers to assist the School of Greensboro Ballet students, artists and faculty.

Membership Information:

Eligibility for Membership:  Any parent, guardian, or other adult standing in loco parentis for a student at the school may become a member. The school director and any teacher employed at the school may become a member.

Dues:  The dues amount established by the Board of Directors of the Greensboro Ballet will initially be $10/household per year as the suggested minimum donation. 

Active Members:  Active Members are those who are entitled to participate in meetings and vote.  Each Active Member has one vote, except to the extent that Active Members are part of the same household, in which case their combined voting equals one vote.  For example, if there are two Active Members from the same household, they each have a ½ vote.  

To be considered an Active Member, the following criteria must be met:
1. Submission of an Active Membership Form;
2. Payment of dues at least 14 calendar days before attending a meeting of BRAVO;
3. Have committed to meet the hours established as the volunteer commitment for the school year;
4. Have not missed more than two (2) meetings of BRAVO after having paid dues; and
5. Completed any prior school year commitment for volunteer hours.
