Building Nations Initiative –BNI (formerly Better Nigeria Initiative) is a youth-led youth work and community development association that is committed to strengthening communities through the education, empowerment and engagement of young people as change agents in their respective communities.

Vision: To raise a new generation of young people as builder of a better society.

Mission Statement: To be a leading platform for positive development of young people.

Role Summary:

To strengthen BNI’s youth work and community development engagement, applications for membership are now open for young people age 18 to 35 years to join either our campus chapters or community networks. Members upon induction will be deployed to respective working groups and committees of the organisation where they will work with teams of young people to implement youth work and community development initiatives in respective host campuses and communities.

Community Network
Postgraduate students (Masters and PhD), young professionals, and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-35 who are interested in personal and professional growth are welcomed to join BNI Community network in Ibadan, Lagos and Ado-Ekiti. BNI offers its members an entry level learning, and capacity building opportunities towards strengthening their global competence for employability, career productivity, and active citizen engagement.

Upon orientation and induction into the organisation, members are deployed to serve in respective working groups as expressed during their applications.
