<b>Camp Description:</b> Learn how to write a song from ground up. Topics covered will include Chord Progressions, Song Structures, Lyrics, Melody, Instrumentation/Arranging and Recording Technology
<b>Date:</b> Thursday, March 29th<b>Time:</b> 10am-3pm<b>Place:</b> Living Waters Church, 9095 Glover Road, Fort Langley
<b>Suitable for grades:</b> 6-12, but basically anyone who knows some scales and chords, likes writing poems or lyrics, and has an interest in how you can write a song. It's not as much of a mysterious black box as you might think!
<b>Minimum # of partcipants needed:</b> 4<b>Maximum # of participants:</b> 20
<b>HCOS student cost:</b> $25<b>Cost for other students:</b> $30
<b>What to Bring: </b>Lunch & Snacks. If you've got an instrument that's easily transportable for sure bring it along, but it's not required. Examples would be acoustic guitars, violins, etc. Don't bring amps and bigger stuff like that, though, as we won't have the space or volume for it. I will bringing some of my studio and setting it up, so we will have a keyboard, a guitar and a bass to use. Contact me if you have any questions.
Payment and registration deadline is March 15, but I need to have at least four students registered by the end of February.
