QUALIFICATIONS- Excellent communication skills- Ability to relate well with students, parents, faculty, and administrators- Commitment to Western Michigan University- Demonstrate interest in helping others- Good organizational skills and flexibility- 2.50 minimum grade point average at the time of application- Enrolled in classes at WMU during Fall 2019- Ability to work as an effective and productive team member- Good disciplinary standing with the University- Must be available to participate in all training sessions- Cannot be a Bronco Buddy, Resident Assistant (R.A.), fall sport athlete, or Bronco Marching Band (B.M.B.) member due to schedule conflicts

TIME COMMITMENT- Complete online training material prior to training (August 20 - 22)- Attend Fall Welcome Ambassador training Tuesday, August 20 through Thursday, August 22nd- Participate in all Fall Welcome activities the week of Friday, August 23rd - Tuesday, August 27th
APPLICATION PROCESSApplications must be submitted by candidate and have two reference forms submitted by the evaluators no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2019. No references are needed for Returning Ambassadors.
REFERENCE FORMSOnly new Ambassador Applicants need references, Returning Ambassador Applicants do not need references. Individuals listed as references will need to fill out the reference form by the due date of the application (July 19th). Please ask your references if they can be listed on this application prior to submitting. They will be emailed a different google form where they can evaluate you.
