COVID-19 scientist volunteer opportunity with Great Lakes Bay Health Center in Saginaw, Bay City, Michigan area
Hello fellow scientists,
The coordination team at the COVID-19 National Scientist Volunteer Database wants to bring to your attention an opportunity to directly help in the fight against COVID-19 in the Michigan area.
Great Lakes Bay Health Center (GLBHC) is a non-profit group of Federally Qualified Community Health Centers serving the Great Lakes Bay Region. They are currently seeking two volunteers (1 in Saginaw and 1 in Bay City) working from Monday to Friday Saginaw 9a-5p; Bay City 12p-5p ASAP.
The volunteering tasks will include screener collecting demographics, filling out requisitions, and so on. The volunteer should have good communication skills, clear oral and written skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
Please opt-in to having your information shared with them by submitting answers to the questions below. These answers will be shared directly with GLBHC and the COVID-19 National Scientist Volunteer Database coordination team as we look to address the growing need for skilled scientists in Michigan.
Any questions about this opportunity should be sent to Paula Peters at
