Confidentiality *
I agree and acknowledge in the performance of his or her duties as an employee of the University of Colorado (CU), my employee has been granted limited rights to use a database created and maintained to build and maintain relationships with CU constituents. I further agree and acknowledge that all data is proprietary and confidential. I agree that I will hold data in strict confidence, will not disclose, export, reproduce, or otherwise distribute data to any third parties or service providers, and will use the data for the purposes specifically outlined in the eComm program. I will immediately report any violations of data security and confidentiality to an eComm Specialist and recognize that breaches of confidentiality will result in license revocation.
Required
Data Security *
I understand that my employee must complete Data Security Training every three years and, if my employee is also a Cvent user, PCI Training annually. My employee must adhere to the guidelines within those trainings at all times. I will not participate in or condone misuse of data or breaches of confidentiality, and any data breaches must be immediately reported to an eComm Specialist. I understand that sharing a license is never appropriate and that doing so will result in license revocation.
Required
Fiscal Responsibility *
Retaining an eComm license (or licenses) requires that my employee logs in and uses the tools for which they have been provisioned on a regular basis. Once employees receive their licenses, they will login, complete training, and pass the new user verification quiz within one month. If they do not login, complete training, and pass the quiz within my first month holding a license, they will be deprovisioned. Additionally, once they are established users, if they do not login and use one or more of the tools for a period of six months, their license(s) will be revoked. They can expect to receive one email notification before that revocation occurs.
Required
CAN-SPAM *
I understand that my employee must comply with CAN-SPAM federal email legislation at all times and that he or she must honor user email preferences in order to adhere to federal law. If my employee violates CAN-SPAM once, he or she will be put on probationary monitoring in conjunction with an eComm Specialist, and if my employee violates CAN-SPAM three or more times, his or her license will be revoked. For more information on CAN-SPAM, visit https://www.cu.edu/ecomm/ecomm-users/program-information/can-spam-legislation.
Required
Training *
I understand that New User Training will take roughly eleven hours to complete and that my employee must complete it (if he or she has not already done so) in order to retain a license. I understand the importance of participating in ongoing deep dive training and in campus user groups to maintain proficiency with eComm’s suite of tools, and I will encourage my employee to do so.
Required
Processes and Policies *
I understand that my employee must work with an eComm Specialist to understand and adhere to lead times associated with audience requests/data uploads and event form approval. I agree to adhere to all CU policies related to electronic communication both at the System level and on my campus/in my unit.
