Music Ensembles: Band, Choir, Guitar

Yearlong music classes are designed to help students specialize on a musical instrument (including voice).

No previous experience is necessary to join a music ensemble.

Band - Multiple groups by experience level: Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced
Choir - One group with all experience levels of singers welcome
Guitar - One group with two levels of curriculum for beginning and advanced players

Students will be required to perform in groups and individually through playing quizzes, informal in-class performances, and formal evening concerts. There will be two evening concert performances required for the year. There will also be several optional performance opportunities for community events.

This is a yearlong course.  Students are placed in this class with instructor approval.  

To apply for this course students will be required to complete the following:

1.  Student Application for Music (this form)

2.  Teacher Recommendation Form for Yearlong VAPA Courses:
Students applying for this course will need to have their Math, Science, ELA, or Social Studies teacher complete the Teacher Recommendation for Yearlong Visual/Performing Arts (VAPA) Courses electronically by Thursday, April 7, 2022.

***Students will need to email their teacher to ask them to electronically fill out the recommendation form.***
