We're always looking to improve content discovery on THETA.tv, and tagging is a feature that we have created to help users find the content that they are interested in.

Our current implementation of tags is meant to be a general description of a channel and not just an individual stream or streamer.

Our general rule of thumb is going to be we want the tag to include a solid number of active channels, so that there's ideally at least a couple live at any one time. Otherwise, users will stop clicking tags because they don't usually bring them more content or channels to discover.
