Summer Camps at the Three Fires Council are run and operated by a co-operative partnership between Support Team Staff members who work multiple weeks, traveling between each location and Volunteer Staff who often give their time for a week or less at a single location. Details of your specific schedule will be worked out by the council program director and the camp director(s) at the camp(s) you commit to.
For new staff members seeking a Support Team (paid position) role, at least one letter of recommendation from a member of your local council’s professional staff, a teacher, religious leader or employer is highly encouraged (References from family members will not be considered with your application). Interviews for Support Team positions will be conducted for our 2024 season starting in February. Applicants indicating they are seeking a volunteer position will be contacted by the Camp Director of their selected location by January.
