Frick Park Red Clay Junior Open - Mini-Camp - Wednesday-Friday June 13-14-15 - 9am to 4pm - $40/player/day
This mini-camp provides a unique setting for advanced young players (ages 10 to 16) to practice on the red clay - for newcomers to tournament play to learn how to play on red clay, how a tournament is run, how to play a tournament match, how to observe good sportsmanship - and for established tournament players to get some quality practice time on the red clay, so rare in the US.

All participating junior players are expected to be able to consistently rally with groundstrokes and volleys with their peers, as well as be able to serve consistently and play matches.

The fee per player per day is $40, including light lunch (provided).

Camp at the Frick Park Clay Courts runs 9am to 4pm.

Players can participate any one, two, or all three days.

Please email for other arrangements (such as half day, late pick up), and any questions or suggestions. In order to prepare for the Red Clay Junior Open as an exciting opportunity for cultural exchange, we are also provide some fun and interactive Spanish and other language classes as part of the camp - will update pronto! Thanks!

Guest Coaches participating in the Mini-Camp have included outstanding Visiting Coaches for the 9am-12pm practice sessions: John Chatlak (Wheeling, WVa), Rochelle Seilhammer (Gateway HS), Mario Frantangelo (Plum, PA).

The camp is designed for 16 players per day, and a maximum of 20 players per day. All players must register using this form. Thanks!
