Statewide Lobby Day & Rally for the New York Health Act: Tues. April 4, 2017
Please join us in Albany for the annual statewide lobby day to advocate for the New York Health Act - the bill to guarantee healthcare to ALL New Yorkers (like Medicare-for-all for New York State!) The New York Health Act passed the Assembly in 2015 and 2016 with huge majority support. We need to pass it in the Assembly again this year and keep pushing the Senate to get this to the Governor's desk to make health care equality a reality for New Yorkers.

Please register by March 27th! Donate here to help cover the cost of transportation:

Suggested donation is between $25-55. Can't afford it? Please come anyway. Can you afford a little extra? Donate a little extra to help others attend!

If you pre-register, we will provide you with training materials and plug you into a team for the lobby day meetings. Because we are targeting elected officials who have not yet signed on to support the New York Health Act, we cannot guarantee a meeting with your legislator. However, we are ALSO planning Thank You Brigades to acknowledges the legislators who have sponsored New York Health and taken a stand for healthcare for all. Please be in touch if you'd like to set up a meeting with your elected official for the day at

Tentative Schedule for the day:

9:30am - Registration, Coffee and Bagels (Emmanuel Baptist Church, 275 State St, Albany, NY 12210)

10:15am - Briefing for the day (Emmanuel Baptist Church, 275 State St, Albany, NY 12210)

11:30am - Rally for universal health care (West Capital Park)

1 - 3:30pm - Meetings with legislators on the New York Health Act and "Thank You Brigades"
