As an elected, volunteer-run organization, the Altadena Town Council relies on community members to get involved by sharing your feedback and concerns with your representative, giving public comments during live meetings, joining an issues-based committee, voting or running in Town Council elections, and if you are a student, participating in an internship to fulfill community service hours.

Public Monthly Meetings

Altadena Town Council public meetings happen on the third Tuesday of the month at the Community Center from 7pm. Residents can give a public comment towards the end of the meeting. Meetings are broadcast on YouTube and available to watch later.

Voting

Each Census Tract has two elected members that serve a two year term. To vote for a candidate in your Census Tract, you do not need to be a United States citizen, but you must be a resident of Altadena,  (proof of address required) and 18 years or older. Elections occur in early November and voting is in person.
