Group Facilitation Methods - 3 Days

Group Facilitation Methods covers the essentials of group facilitation and Māori perspectives on facilitation.

It includes instruction and hands-on practice with the core Technology of Participation (ToP) methods – the Focused Conversation Method and Consensus Workshop Method. It also includes versatile techniques for gathering information. Participants will learn how to effectively plan a facilitation session.

This course is a pre-requisite for all other ToP Facilitative Leadership Program courses, and the first step in the pathway towards becoming a Certified ToP Facilitator.

This course is offered in New Zealand by Participatory Techniques Ltd (NZ) and authorised by the Institute of Cultural Affairs Australasia.
Dates and Course Attendance Requirements
Monday August 12, 9:00AM  - Wednesday August 14 2024, 5:00 PM

The course is three full days and intensive in nature.  Full attendance is required to be awarded a Completion Certificate.

Venue and Accommodation
The course is being held at Area Events, Boulcott St, WELLINGTON

The course fee includes teas and lunches.  

A range of accommodation options are within easy walking distance of the venue. You can also book on-site accommodation through Area Events, at the Boulcott Suites at a 20% discount.  We can provide you with a booking contact and the promotion code for this.

Course Confirmation

If travelling from out of Wellington, we recommend you do not book non-refundable air tickets until you have received the course confirmation notice and information pack on, or before this date.
Cancellation Policy *
Should we need to cancel the course:
If for any reason we must cancel the course, your registration fee will be fully refunded.

If you choose to cancel your registration:

If you withdraw from the course before the course confirmation date of 15 July 2024 your registration fee will be refunded minus a $25 administration fee.

Registration cannot be refunded if you withdraw after 15 July 2024 (the course confirmation date), but you can transfer your registration to someone else.

NB: If you cannot attend as you are unwell, your registration can be transferred to our next course.
