Who We Are
At the core, we are eco-warriors who are passionate about the incredible potential hemp provides in reversing human-induced climate change. United under the banner of Hemp Save The World, a name that has deep roots within the hemp community, we share a strong belief that hemp can help save the world. We are a start-up based out of British Columbia, Canada.
What We're Doing
Hemp Save The World is an online marketplace; like Etsy, Amazon, or AirBnB; where eco-friendly shoppers can easily find sustainable sellers of numerous hemp products and services – all in one convenient, easy-to-use platform.
Why We're Doing It
At Hemp Save The World, it is our mission to help others live sustainably by raising awareness of the numerous benefits of industrial hemp and providing the largest source of sustainable hemp-based alternatives to promote a healthy, environmentally friendly lifestyle.

In GreenPrint's Business of Sustainability Index published March 2021, they found that nearly two-thirds (64%) of Americans are willing to pay more for sustainable products but most (74%) don’t know how to identify them. People become frustrated when faced with the challenge of finding and identifying sustainable products. We are here to make it easy for them.

We envision a future where the environmental impact of humanity is negligible; a future that is environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable for all generations. Industrial hemp provides an unfathomable, unbelievable potential to combat the climate crisis. Illegal to cultivate for the last 60-80 years, one can’t help but to wonder if we would be in a climate crisis today if it wasn’t. The opportunity hemp provides to sequester carbon from the atmosphere into our everyday products, including our homes, will play a major role in reversing human-induced climate change.
Wait... What Exactly IS "Industrial Hemp" a.k.a. "Hemp"?
If you're in the industry, it's very likely you already know what industrial hemp is. If not, here are the basics:

Cannabis is an annual herbaceous plant that has been used throughout human history for many different purposes, with each part of the plant being used to produce a wide variety of goods ranging from textiles to food and medicine.

Today, the terms "industrial hemp" or simply "hemp" are used to describe specific cultivars of cannabis which contain less than 0.3% THC — the compound that produces a psychoactive effect when consumed. Consuming industrial hemp can't get one "high," unlike other cannabis cultivars. Rather, it is grown specifically for its fibres, flowers, and seeds which are then used in many different applications.

Aside from providing a potential systemic revolution of the consumer, commercial, and industrial goods industries, it also offers great potential for combating the climate crisis and other environmental, social, and economic problems around the world.
