Dear Copperfield Church Family,

You are probably asking, “Where are we going? Who’s going to lead us? What are we going to do?”

These are common questions that each of us ask as we begin the search for a new pastor and continue to chart the course for our church. The members of the Pastoral Search Committee are prayerfully seeking God’s leadership and guidance as we continue in our work. However, the committee needs your help.

This survey questionnaire is your opportunity to provide us with feedback about you, our church, and what you are hoping and praying for in our next pastor. In it you will be able to express your concerns, desires and vision for our church and what gifts, passions, traits and skills you think our next pastor should have. Your commitment to and ownership in this process will help inform us as to who we are as a church and where we believe God wants to lead us in the future as a relevant and fruitful local body of believers fulfilling Christ’s mission on the earth.

Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire. Please read each question carefully and follow the instructions provided. There are several types of questions including multiple choice, ranking, and fill-in-the-blank. Please match your response to the type of question. If you have no opinion or have never participated in the ministry the question concerns, please mark the “neutral” or “not applicable” box.

All of the information will remain completely anonymous and individual responses will be completely confidential. Please do not place your name or any other identification on the questionnaire.
