The UW Society of Women Engineers (UW SWE) is a RSO at the University of Washington focused on improving diversity within engineering and encouraging young women to pursue careers within the field of engineering. We strive to provide opportunities for professional development, leadership, community building, and outreach.
Our Mission Our goals are to further the mission set forth by the society: stimulate all genders to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.
