Trailblazers Museum Studies Application
The Heritage Center is hosting our annual Trailblazer Museum Studies Summer Program, a paid position designed for African American students in high school, kicking off this summer! In the program, students will learn in-depth local African American history, take trips to museums in the region (including Richmond & DC), hear from guest speakers, assist with special projects at the JSAAHC, lead tours for the community (and their peers once the academic year begins), and collaborate on research to create an exhibition.

In addition to being a paid position, students will gain a wide-ranging skill set that will look great on resumes and future college applications!
