LEJ - Nursery Volunteer Day - April 20 and/or May 18
Join us for a great day supporting the Literacy for Environmental Justice's Candlestick Point Native Plant Nursery on Saturday, April 20 and/or May 18.

On Saturday, April 20, we'll be working at Sunrise Point at the Candlestick Point State Recreation Area.

We are meeting at 10am at the bathrooms at Sunrise Point.

In honor of Earth Day, this volunteer program will have educational opportunities, including an ethnobotany walk and environmental justice lessons, specifically around social determinants of health.

On Saturday, May 18 we'll be working at the Candlestick Point Native Plant Nursery.

You can drop in and help at anytime between 10:00am-1:00pm. Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm. This volunteer activity helps ensure the nursery is in great shape and that plants are ready to be planted in public parks right here in Southeast San Francisco, contributing to wildlife habitat and enhancing our open spaces.

If you haven't registered in advance, don't worry! You can drop-in Saturday morning and register at the nursery. We'd love to have you.

Which date would you like to take part in (you can register for both if you would like)?
