Mills Art Show Submissions
The Mills International Center mission is: "As a catalyst for international experiences, we provide guidance, information, and programming to promote global understanding. The Mills Center integrates its resources with our international and local university communities through active, creative, informative and supportive partnerships and events."

One of the Mills' key educational programs is an ongoing Art Show that is displayed on the walls of the Mills aimed at representing the culture and diversity of a specific region or community. This spring, we are focusing on the art of Indigenous and Native American communities.

We are looking for individuals or groups who create art -- be it visual, written, performance, etc. -- and would be willing to share it through the Mills Art Show and Reception. All art will be displayed in the Mills for a term and will be celebrated in an opening event in the spring. Performance art will occur at the opening event for the gallery, and written work will be presented in an informational booklet to be shared with guests at the Mills.

As we gather interest, we will take several weeks to look over submissions, and several factors will be considered, such as the size of the piece and space availability in the Mills. Final decisions on the art to be displayed and presented will occur during week one of spring term. If you have any questions about the Art Show, please reach out to nperez@uoregon.edu or zdolan@uoregon.edu. Thank you very much for your interest!
