Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Engineering Ahead Summer Programs at Penn State Abington and Berks. Engineering Ahead is an academic enhancement program designed to help incoming diverse Engineering students succeed in their math and science courses in the coming fall semester.

Please complete the following application for the Engineering Ahead Summer Programs at Penn State Abington and Berks. 

For Penn State Abington, the application deadline is  May 31, 2024. 
For Penn State Berks, the application deadline is May 24, 2024.

Please note: The 2024 summer programs will be offered IN PERSON at Penn State Berks and in a hybrid format VIRTUAL & IN PERSON at Penn State Abington.

PROGRAM BENEFITS
1. Prepare for the rigors of pre-Calculus and Calculus
2. Develop friendships with other students interested in Engineering
3. Professional development and college skills workshops
4. Get to know the campus and professors
5. Conversations with professional engineers

You may apply to an Engineering Ahead program even if you have not officially accepted your offer from Penn State. However, final acceptance into an Engineering Ahead program is contingent on acceptance of your Penn State offer.

PROGRAM DATES:
ABINGTON CAMPUS (5 weeks: Weeks 1-4 online & Week 5 in person): 06/25/2024 to 07/26/2024
BERKS CAMPUS (4 weeks residential on campus): 06/30/2024 to 07/26/2024
