We are interested in showcasing all types and genres of zines including art zines, literary zines, political zines, chap books, mini comics, fanzines, perzines, artist books, single-page pocket zines, how-to/informational zines and any DIY/independently produced publications. We are open to new and old zines created by veteran zine makers, artists, writers and activists as well as those created by up and comers who may be new to zine making.
The exhibition will take place in the Holland Project Gallery, located at 140 Vesta St., Reno, NV, from Dec. 12 - 29, 2017.
Accepted zines must arrive at the Holland Project by Dec. 7th in order to be included in the exhibit.
All applications will be reviewed by the Holland Project Gallery Committee on Nov. 28th - 29th and applicants will be notified of acceptance via email by Nov. 29th.
Up to 5 different zines per person in any genre or format may be submitted. Additional editions of each zine may be included to sell in the gallery. If you wish to include zines for sale please only send up to 5 additional copies. The Holland Project will maintain a 20% commission from all sales made in the gallery.
