Hey everyone! If you are interested in volunteering with Wesley virtually, Dr. Gaona has identified some areas that could use UACOM-P student help. The tasks are:
1) Helping patients get web-enabled for telemed visits and the Wesley portal
2) Mailing fecal occult blood tests (need to look into this one)
3) SDOH & depression screenings during COVID.
4) Telehealth CHIP nights
5) Diabetes Management Patient Follow-ups with Telehealth.
Requirements for CHIP nights/Diabetes Follow ups
1) Four hour shift (please reference monthly Sign Up Genius for shifts)
2) Be able to access EMR remotely (will receive instructions)
2) UACOM-P student
Requirement for SDOH/Fecal occult blood tests
1) About 4 hours a week (lots of flexibility, can be done whenever you have time!)
2) Be able to access EMR remotely (will receive instructions)
3) Only open to UACOM-P students
You will receive CHIP hours for your time! While Spanish speaking is a plus, it is not required. We are looking to start with 10 students
and expand form there. Priority will be given to those in service learning COD and those who need more CHIP hours soon. "
